He loves me (part 2)

One of the most sweetest thing that John does for me is prayer. I love it and I feel so loved by him when he tells me in text that he prayed for me and most especially when he prays for me outloud...

Just like last night! I needed some air last night and "debriefing" when I asked him if I can go to his office. I shared my heart to him and before I went home, I asked him to pray for me and he did. He gladly did! I'm just so blessed to have a future husband like him.

Pastor Raul said during our premarital counseling, when we were discussing about our premarriage assessment survey, "Wow, Rajsh! You're marrying a nolble man!" Naks! Ikaw na love ang noble man. Hehehe.

Ayun lang.

I love you so much! And I really thank God for you... I know you will be reading this later. Mwuahugs! :)

He loves me!

John is not as expressive (words) as me. But he has his own ways in expressing how much he loves me and I'm okay with that!

During our last premarital counseling (this past Sunday), one of the things that Pastor Raul told us is that we should write down our wedding vows and memorize it. It was such a kilig moment for me because I have been imagining myself reciting that to John. And then John mentioned in passing that he was also thinking about it already. And that made my heart melt. I wanted to cry, hug him and kiss him... he loves me! I know right?! Hehehe. Just saying...

We are favored

I tweeted yesterday that John and I will have our premarital counseling... And we praise and thank God for that overwhelming session we had with our mentor/wedding officiating priest, Pastor Raul Caguin!

Pastor Raul is such a blessing to us, he was telling us how he will make sure that our wedding is very personal and still God-glorifying and solemn and all that. He basically gave us a glimpse of what will happen on our most awaited BIG day and both John and I were just teary and joyful about it... We can't wait for it!

Anyway, I just also realized that I haven't mention here how favored we are (John and I) by the our dear Lord. Three months ago, our GCF-Connect family told me that they will be sponsoring our honeymoon trip in Coron, Palawan. Yes, that's how much they love us. They are really a blessing to us. I was so happy and blessed as it was another affirmation of the Lord that our wedding will really push through (since honeymoon is already booked! hehe!) and it really gave me the encouragement and inspiration to just prepare and expect more of God's goodness... A few days after they (GCF-Connect) pledged for the honeymoon, a lady who I am currently discipling pledged for the wedding invitation. I was like-- "Seriously?! Wow! That is so great!" and then right after when she said that my co-GG-leader for Connect-Taguig, agreed to be our wedding photographer for free!

How awesome is that? Now who says the Lord is not faithful? He is! I just cried out of so much joy and thankfulness... Thank You, Father!

Here's John text reaction to these news:

We know for sure that He will bless us more and more... And with this in mind, I know I shouldn't be worrying too much! We are really, looking forward to our wedding day! Five months to go!

Yes, I'm so excited!

I just realized that I'm joyfully excited for our wedding (duh)... Well, I mean, I remember last year and back in 2010, whenever I would think about our wedding, it makes me sad because back then I felt like it's so tagal! But now, I' m only counting five months before the day! Yey! And so I haven't seen myself lately being so emo and telling John how much sad I am because we are not yet married... Hehe! Arte ko eh!

Anyway, yesterday, I got the chance to talk to a caterer... They offer really good price! As in cheaper than our budget. However, their menu is not for breakfast... So I told my contact if it's possible that we customize our own menu. I'm praying for a positive feedback.

That's all for now...

Blessings!

5 months for the Rainbow!

Hello, hello!

Just a quick update... It's 5 months to go before our big day and so yesterday John, myself and Resa (a good friend and a Sister in the Lord) went to Taytay, Rizal and bought the fabric that we will use for the wedding entourage. And boy, sobrang mura dun ha! As in!

We were able to buy the fabric for- our maids of honor, for two of our secondary sponsors, for four of my bridesmaid and then for my dress and for John's suit. Gano ba kamura (how inexpensive, you ask)? We only spent Php2765 for all of it! Yes, that's how good the price is! Unbelievable right? Well believe it, it's true!

I will be posting picture some other time... We bought different colors as seen above. Ganda di ba? I haven't mention here that we will be having a rainbow theme... Yes, that's right! Well, that would be for the ladies only since the men will wear Barong Tagalog. There will be someone who will wear red, orange, yellow, green, violet, indigo and blue. Because I (and John also agreed with it naman) wanted to have a "happy color" peg kasi and so that's how I came up with the idea. Plus, I don't see a lot of wedding with that kind of theme. Hehe.

Anyway, I'm just so happy and excited... Will try my best to keep this blog updated more often since days are passing by... 5 months to go! Woohoo!

Until next my friends! Blessings! :)
