We're on it!

Yeah baby!

Yesterday, John and I met with our dear mentor (and wedding officiating minister) Pastor Raul Caguin for our Pre-Marital Counselling.

Wohoo!

This is going to be exciting. :)

Menu

John and I decided that we will do a breakfast wedding.  It would cost less than lunch and dinner kasi since we are on a tight budget... And also so that we can somewhat welcome the day as husband and wife. Oh yeah! ;-)

Anyway, I've been researching on what food to include on the menu as I'm currently in touch with four caterers.  I've seen a few interesting and yummy breakfast wedding menu and up to now I still have not decided... Ang sasarap eh!

Once I've decided, I will tell John about it for his approval and then get in touch with the caterers and see who of them can offer us the best deal... If not, I think I'll go for the advise of my wedding mentor to not get a caterer... Will share more about it next time. ;-)

**Just a quick update**

Yesterday, John and I had our very first supplier meeting.

We met with our jeweler... Who is such a blessing because she was really nice as she offered to give us a very very good deal and because she is a Christian too, our churchmate to be exact! Yehey! We're so happy and it's adding up to our excitement!

Guest list

I know it's been a long time sine I last updated this blog. Maybe some of you were thinking-- Tuloy pa ba ang kasal? (Will the wedding still push through?) Of course! Hehehe.

I just want to share last night, John and I had a date and while having our dinner we decided to list down our guests for our big day... It's been months since we told each other that we have to do it na but then it was just last night that we did it. and yehey, praise God because planning is going to be more intense on the coming days!

Weeeh! I'm so excited! :)

Hoping to post more updates as often as I could... Do keep us in prayer!

Never ending

Just want to share this...

As I was on my way to work the other night, this thought came to my mind:

"John and I are saving for the wedding and the day after... And the thing is, we won't stop until... until... Wait, we can't afford to stop saving for the future, even after we get married we would need to save up for us to be ready to have kids, even after having kids we need to save up for their future, even after that... the list goes on!" And these got me worried.

BUT...

The Lord, impressed this in my heart very clearly:

"It also means that you two will have the chance to never end trusting in Me..."

WOW!

My worry changed to peace and a smiling heart. :)
